Task 7 – Evaluation

Overall , the system have been managed very professional as if the folders have been created and there was no problem with creating 3 of them and renaming them. By creating the folders we can keep everything tidy and files easy to find. This will help us to keep some times on finding the right files to work with. This time is going to help us by going ahead other companies and maybe being more productive and effective with our work.

Also creating 3 users and giving them different rights was very effective as if your files are going to be safe from people that are less trustworthy. Also its going to save time for everyone as if they don't need to look through the folders that they have no access. Some users have been given read only access to certain folders so they cannot open the files that are in the folder. Also this will help the company to keep their important files safe from outside organisation attack/ sabotage. Also the background was very easily applied to all computers with the logo of the company.

However some of the plan didn't go as planned as if the shortcuts weren't created. The plan wasn't effective as if we didn't have any apps installed on the computers and we could find the path to the apps because of that. If I had more time I would have installed all the apps that were needed and create the shortcuts on the desktop. By creating the shortcuts we are going to also save some time as if the apps could be installed in the places where the users  would have not idea where they are located. 

Also if I had more time I would think about installing some kind of antivirus to protect all the files on the computers. Installing the antivirus would help us protect all the data that is important to the company. Antivirus reduces the chances of being hacked or antivirus being installed in the file. Also if the schedule for scan of antivirus was set we would have been more confident about our files that there is no virus or harmful worm on the computer that can cause the loss of data or even the computer failing which would mean that the computer is going to be swapped or repaired but the files that were there would be deleted which means we would have to configure the computer again so it can be useable in the company.

If I had more time I would think about setting a different password for every computer there is so we would avoid different kind of sabotage outside or inside the company. This would also mean that users would be able to keep their files on the computer instead of backing up the data every day after they finish their work. Also the passwords need to be very strong because passwords that contain your name and 123 are very easy to guess. So long passwords are going to be used on every single computer to make sure that nobody can guess them.
