Task 5 – Resolve Issues

 I have been asked to resolve following issues:

Can't connect to the internet

Check if you have turned on the wi-fi on your computer. If you have done that and its still not working try to enabling ethernet if your connect to the computer with the ethernet cable. If the Wi-Fi is still not working you should try to restart the router.

Page will not print 

Check if your connected to Wi-Fi , if your Wi-Fi is working and the page is still not printing check if your connected to the printer and if still its not working try to doing it by connecting your computer and printer through the cable and then try to print and it should work.

Shortcut to my files is not working

Step 1; Open the root folder for the app that is not working.

Step 2: Navigate the shortcut to the folder where the initial app is installed.

Step 3: Try to path the shortcut and if that's not working you can delete the other shortcut and create new one by right clicking the app and making a shortcut.

Step 4: After you made the shortcut you should try if its working on the desktop.

My screen is displayed upside down

CTRL + ALT + UP that the combination of the keys that should help you rotate the screen around.

Desktop background has changed

You should open settings and look for personalization tab. Then  you should be able to see a couple of options on left hand side and . You should choose background and scroll down and you will be able to see option called "browse" which will let you look for the picture that you want to set up as your background.

Screen icons are too small.

If the screen icons are too small you should follow these steps:

Step 1 : Go on desktop 

Step 2: right click your mouse on the desktop where there are no apps.

Step 3: You going to see multiple of options and there should be a "VIEW" option and place your mouse cursor on it.

Step 4 : Then you will be able to see the 3 options to change the size of the icons. " small size" , "medium size" "large size" if the icons are too small you should change the size to medium as if this is the default option.

  I have been asked to create 3 folders with specific names picture on the right provides the evidence of them 3 folders being created.
